我不知道安全事故奪去了多少人的生命，但那一組組數(shù)據(jù)卻是那般觸目驚心：僅20xx年中國(guó)內(nèi)地就發(fā)生中毒事件五百零六起，死亡二百五十八人;每年我們國(guó)家有9萬(wàn)多人死于交通事故，大約有1萬(wàn)6千多名學(xué)生意外身亡。生命!生命!我默默地念著，這些脆弱的生命啊，像一滴滴水融在大海里，沒(méi)有聲音，也沒(méi)有影子，想起生命如花般的鮮艷美麗，如詩(shī)一樣的音韻悠揚(yáng)，瞬間逝去，我不禁頭涔涔而淚潸潸!
去的盡管去了，但不該發(fā)生的卻還繼續(xù)著。20xx年通江一所學(xué)校晚自習(xí)后，一聲“鬼來(lái)了!”造成嚴(yán)重踩踏事件，8人死亡，十余人重傷啊!天昏地暗，日月無(wú)光，讓人撕心裂肺!巴河，我們的母親河，兩岸垂柳依依，河水清波漾漾，可每年溺水死亡的學(xué)生不少于10人，江河嗚咽，松濤悲鳴，令人肝腸寸斷!去年五月的一個(gè)清晨，北京某十字路口，一輛飛馳的驕車(chē)以120邁的時(shí)速撞上了一輛正在等候綠燈的小車(chē)后又撞上了一輛公交車(chē)，造成兩死一重傷的慘劇。朋友們，每年有多少生命死于安全事故，每天又有多少父母失去孩子，又有多少孩子失去父母啊!是的，如果事故沒(méi)有發(fā)生，她們一個(gè)個(gè)會(huì)依然走在陽(yáng)光中;如果事故沒(méi)有發(fā)生，含辛茹苦的雙親不會(huì)一夜白頭。生命!生命!是什么瞬間奪去了你?是什么原因讓你曇花一現(xiàn)?
安全!安全!一個(gè)小意外有可能帶給我們不可彌補(bǔ)的傷害與損失。也許你早已厭煩了父母的嘮叨，聽(tīng)膩了師長(zhǎng)的叮囑，但“安全”之劍要永遠(yuǎn)高懸!!為了確保安全，我校實(shí)行了交通五制、舉牌放學(xué)制、樓道值勤制，在老師的帶領(lǐng)下，我們參加了逃生演練，聆聽(tīng)了專(zhuān)家講座，舉行了安全知識(shí)競(jìng)賽。重要活動(dòng)有方案、有預(yù)案、有秩序，讓安全知識(shí)、進(jìn)教材、進(jìn)課堂、進(jìn)頭腦，真正做到了“三進(jìn)”、“五有”，實(shí)現(xiàn)了安全事故零報(bào)告，構(gòu)建了和諧、平安、健康的校園。

I'm Lai Senhan from the University of International Business & Economics. Do you know what date is it today? Today is the Olympic Date. I'm so glad to stand here today to share my idea about Beijing Olympic Games together with you all. The title of my speech is: what can we do for Beijing Olympic Games?
First of all, let me tell you a story that happened 2 years ago. At the end of August, 20xx, when I decided to come to Beijing for study, my friends hel* * rewell Party for me. They said: after your graduation, you should look for a job in Beijing, and then in 20xx, we shall go to visit you during the Olympic Games. I laughed and answered: OK, no problem!
Time flied and 2 years passed. Now I am a graduate. My teachers and classmates always ask me: what's your plan after your graduation? Go back home, stay in Beijing, or go to some other places? And I always answer: I will stay in Beijing. I make this decision not because of my promise to my friends 2 years ago, but because: I've fallen in love with Beijing! I'm eager to welcome the coming Olympic Games together with my fellow countrymen, and I wish I could do something for the Olympics & for the city.
As we know, Beijingwill host the 29th Summer Olympic Games in 20xx. As a Chinese, I think many people are thinking: what we can do for Beijing Olympic Games. Most of us are not athletes, we cannot take part in competitions directly; we are not officials either, we don't need to do the preparatory work. We are only ordinary people, what we can do!
There are still so many things we can do! For example, for me, I am a graduate majoring Business English. As far as I am concerned, I will keep on learning English hard, and apply for being a volunteer. I will use English to serve the Games together with other volunteers. And also, as a businessman at that time, I will avail myself of the great commercial opportunities that the Olympics brings to us, make more efforts to offer my contribution to the growth of our national economy.
And for all of us, with the goal to host a "Green Olympics", we shall plant more trees, grass & flowers. Don't waste water. In order to alleviate the problems of air pollution & traffic congestions, we shall take buses & subways more. With the goal to host a "People's Olympics", and in order to make our Olympics more attractive and to make our Beijing more beautiful, we shall help everyone we meet who needs help, we shall abide by traffic rules, don't smoke in public and no spitting. The most important way for our Chinese to support our Beijing Olympic Games, in my opinion, is to work hard on our duties.

I am currently an active member of the university Public Speaking Team, president of the Honours College Student Association, and also the vice president of the event department in Marketing Society. I am very active and outgoing. I enjoy being with people, engaged in conversations with them so that I can understand them more. I like public speaking as it can help increase my self-esteem and self-confidence. Aside from public speaking, I am also good at English recitation. I have joined the Macao-wide English Individual Recitation for a number of times when I was studying in the secondary school.
Imagine a car without a steering wheel. Tough to imagine, right? Well, actually that’s the image you see if a person has no faith. Faith helps to guide us in our lives, encourage us to persist, and give directions when we are lost.
In this peaceful era, our life paths seem to be already well-planned and determined. What we have to do is to follow. Yes, we may face different sorts of challenges, but at least they are less harsh when compared to those in the past. We do not need to worry about starving to death, or how to earn enough money to buy food for our siblings and sustain our lives.
It is like driving from a muddy road into a highway. In the muddy road, path, you would say, as it is formed only by crossing on it many times, flattening the ground to form a smoother area so we can pass. The road is so bumpy and rough, with holes here and there and rocks lying all over. When we drive along this road, we have to be very careful, having a firm grip on the steering wheel, ready for a sudden turn or a large boulder that may appear any second. However, when we drive on a highway, everything becomes different. The road is smooth, straight, and visible. Since there is no unseen obstacle, we may lower our guard, relax a bit, and loosen our grip on the steering wheel. One may even think, if we only have to drive on a smooth straight road like this highway, why would we need a steering wheel?
Faith is unique, just as happiness is. We feel happy for different reasons, we believe for different things. How can we know what we believe in? Recall the last time you are discouraged, and you felt you had lost all hopes in your life. What pulled you back into the world? What pushed you to stand up and continue to strive again? That is your faith, your belief. Faith is what makes you feel you can when others say you can’t.

Once I changed my attitude toward everything, I recognized my world, my future and myself. It happened when my friends and I had almost finished our last academic year and were invited by our lovely and friend like teachers to an amazing trip, to Issyk-Kul, the pearl of Kyrgyz land. About five of my best friends and I were going to the breathtaking places of our motherland where we decided to have an unforgettable days of our life.
In evening, we were usually watching comedy films and films about the battles. But on another day we decided to have a party, so we went to a local disco named as Discovery. And the life would be more interesting that night if I didn’t quarrel with my best friend. We started arguing only for our own interests; he insisted on drinking some alcohol and dance, I insisted on not doing that because it would bring big problems and moreover it would be shame on ourselves. Unfortunately, all my friends were against me, because they thought that we could afford drinking alcohol considering that we were about to finish our school. That night I lost all my best friends just in a moment. All my thoughts about friendship were ruined; my heart burst into small pieces that will never be joined any more. And from that moment I started to build everything in my life from zero. I became more serious with my attitude toward people and became more careful myself as well.

今天，我演講的題目是：讓安全操作成為一種習(xí)慣。
讓安全操作成為每個(gè)人的習(xí)慣，這并不是一件很難做到的事情。只要人人想著安全，時(shí)時(shí)記著安全，事事按安全規(guī)程去做, 無(wú)論在什么時(shí)候，無(wú)論做什么事情，不管有人監(jiān)督與否，不管是獨(dú)立操作，還是多人操作，都能?chē)?yán)格按章進(jìn)行。時(shí)間一長(zhǎng)，就會(huì)自然而然地成為一種習(xí)慣。
事故的發(fā)生，看似偶然，但認(rèn)真分析，絕大多數(shù)都是由習(xí)慣性違章操作造成的，員工安全意識(shí)不足，重視程度不夠，操作不熟練等等，也就是一切事故根源于我們的行為思想上。所以我們必須改變這一思想。即，要進(jìn)一步提高自身安全意識(shí)建設(shè)，要牢固樹(shù)立“我要安全”這一思想，要全面加強(qiáng)按章操作訓(xùn)練，切實(shí)培養(yǎng)出良好的安全操作習(xí)慣。
上崗操作時(shí)，我們一定要清楚的知道操作規(guī)程，一定不能心慌手亂，一定不能心存僥幸。在崗一分鐘、盡責(zé)六十秒。在工作中，要充分體現(xiàn)“關(guān)愛(ài)生命，安全為天;嚴(yán)守規(guī)程，防微杜漸”的安全理念;在排查隱患時(shí)，要“細(xì)心深入”，對(duì)所有可能釀造成事故的隱患都要進(jìn)行處理;在事故處理時(shí)，要 “標(biāo)本兼治”，絕不能“頭疼醫(yī)頭，腳疼醫(yī)腳”;在日常工作中，要把著眼點(diǎn)和立足點(diǎn)放在事故的超前防范意識(shí)上來(lái)，主動(dòng)開(kāi)展工作，做到超前部署、超前防范，促進(jìn)安全形勢(shì)持久穩(wěn)定。

My dear friends, welcome to our school! My school is very beautiful! It has a big playground. We can play and do some sports there. Near the playground, there is a garden. Many trees and flowers are there. So the air is very clean and we can hear birds singing in the trees. It is so wonderful. Our teaching buildings are around the garden and look like our teachers’ arms to welcome us. We can draw pictures in the art room on the first floor and read story-books in the library on the second floor. My classroom is on the third floor. It is clean and bright. We like to study in it. The computer room is on the fifth floor. We can sing and dance in the music room on the sixth floor. What a lot of fun! We can have lunch in the canteen near Defang Teaching Building.
In our school, our teachers work hard and help us with our lessons. We study hard and listen to teachers carefully. After class, our teachers play with us and we feel very happy.
