20xx年前，我在《環(huán)球》雜志上讀過一個很感人的真實故事。故事的主人公是個年輕貌美的女子，一天，跟隨丈夫在山頂拍照，突然丈夫一腳踩空，隨即向萬丈深淵滑去，周圍是陡峭的山崖，兩手無任何抓處。就在這十分危急的一瞬間，妻子兩手抱住崖邊的樹干，用嘴咬住了丈夫的上衣。這時丈夫懸在空中，妻子又不能松手，只好用兩排潔白細碎的牙齒承受著一個高大的身軀。妻子不停地對自己說：“咬緊牙關(guān)，堅持，再堅持!”她美麗的牙齒和嘴唇被血染得鮮紅鮮紅。半個小時后，被游客發(fā)現(xiàn)，才把他倆救上來。這位妻子身單力薄，為什么會在緊要關(guān)頭，爆發(fā)出這么大的承受力和忍耐力?一位生理學(xué)家認為：“身體機能對緊急狀況產(chǎn)生反應(yīng)時，腎上腺能大量分泌出激素，傳到整個身體，能產(chǎn)生額外的力量。”如果從心理方面分析，這種生理現(xiàn)象，產(chǎn)生于人的心智和精神的力量。這位妻子能咬緊牙關(guān)，一再堅持，是因為她心里只有一個念頭：千萬千萬不能松口，否則丈夫就會跌進萬丈深淵。人有了心智和精神力量的支配，就連死神也怕咬緊牙關(guān)!

決不放棄，就是堅持，它來自于人的毅力。毅力是人類最可貴的財富，在走向成功的路上，沒有任何東西能代替毅力。熱情不能，有一時熱情的人往往在最后一步退縮，這已屢見不鮮;聰明也代替不了毅力，因為世上失敗的聰明人太多了。
人有了毅力，就容易成功，沒有毅力，就容易前功盡棄。想想我們做過的事，你就會發(fā)現(xiàn)，無論做什么事，都要經(jīng)歷一個過程，越是重大的事，經(jīng)歷的過程就越長。從事情的開始，到事情的終了，然后又是一個開始，又是一個終了。

love has magical power that can exploit people's potential abilities, bring people's positive factors into full play, and provide people with the courage to face trials and hardships, to go through life and death, and even to risk universal condemnation. even in the ancient feudal society, some people were courageous enough to carry on clandestine love affairs. the examples in point were the courageous ones who dared to love the concubines of the emperors or the children of their foes. love also has miraculous power which can startle the universe and move the gods by attracting the heavenly celestials coming down to earth ( the love story of the cowboy and the weaving girl ),and by turning ghosts into human ( strange tales of liao-zhai ),love can transcend age and generation (dr. sun yat-sen and madam song qingling; luxun and xu guangping).love can show contempt for all conventions and prejudices; love can heal wounds and cure diseases, and love can readjust people's state of mind. of course, the result would be the opposite once it hurts.
great men yearn for true love even more than ordinary people. since the ancient times, so many heroes couldn't help falling into the trap of love that the sex-trap has been regarded as one of the 36 stratagems in military tactics. fuchai, the king of the wu state, couldn't be spared of this trap, and generals dongzhuo and lubu fell deeply into it while xiangyu, the king of the western chu state , bid farewell to his beloved concubine in tears. people may have to pay very high price, even their illustrious name for the love they long for even though it may last for only a very short time. nonetheless no one can tear himself away from love. people often say that their earthly affinity is not yet finished, but in fact it is the love affinity that is the most difficult to finish.
love is shapeless and priceless. we can blame nobody when captured by it. love can not be forced, nor can it be pretended. sympathy is not love, neither is gratitude. love must be generated from the heart, and expressed in actions. it can not be called love without passions and a deep longing from the bottom of the heart. there's no impassable gulf between family love and fraternal love. some family love may turn into friendship. at the same time, natural barriers doesn't exist either between fraternal love and amatory love. some friendship may develop into amatory love. the same is true with amatory love which may change into family love after a long time of mutual grinding and polishing.the closer the relationship, and the higher the expectations are, the more difficult it is to get along with each other. family love, fraternal love and amatory love are three main human feelings. if handled well, they can bring us extreme happiness, while handled improperly, will bring us great sufferings.

you know, you know, we started this great effort on a sunny july morning in pinders corner on pat and liz moynihan's beautiful farm and 62 counties, 16 months, 3 debates, 2 opponents, and 6 black pantsuits later, because of you, here we are.
you came out and said that issues and ideals matter, jobs matter, downstate and upstate, health care matters, education matters, the environment matters, social security matters, a woman's right to choose matters. it all matters and i just want to say from the bottom of my heart, thank you, new york!
thank you for opening up your minds and your hearts, for seeing the possibility of what we could do together for our children and for our future here in this state and in our nation. i am profoundly grateful to all of you for giving me the chance to serve you.
i will - i will do everything i can to be worthy of your faith and trust and to honor the powerful example of senator daniel patrick moynihan. i would like all of you and the countless new yorkers and americans watching to join me in honoring him for his incredible half century of service to new york and our nation. senator moynihan, on behalf of new york and america, thank you.
i promise you tonight that i will reach across party lines to bring progress for all of new york's families. today we voted as democrats and republicans. tomorrow we begin again as new yorkers.
and how fortunate we are indeed to live in the most diverse, dynamic and beautiful state in the entire union. you know, from the south bronx to the southern tier, from brooklyn to buffalo, from montauk to massena, from the world's tallest skyscrapers to breathtaking mountain ranges, i've met people whose faces and stories i will never forget. thousands of new yorkers from all 62 counties welcomed to me into your schools, your local diners, your factory floors, your living rooms and front porches. you taught me, you tested me and you shared with me your challenges and concerns - about overcrowded or crumbling schools, about the struggle to care for growing children and aging parents, about the continuing challenge of providing equal opportunity for all and about children moving away from their home towns because good jobs are so hard to find in upstate new york. now i've worked on issues like these for a long time, some of them for 30 years, and i am determined to make a difference for all of you.
you see, i believe our nation owes every responsible citizen and every responsible family the tools that they need to make the most of their own lives. that's the basic bargain. i'll do my best to honor in the united states senate.
and to those of you who did not support me, i want you to know that i will work in the senate for you and for all new yorkers. and to those of you who worked so hard and never lost faith even in the toughest times, i offer you my undying gratitude.

different people have different ideas about success; cause people’s hopes and ideas vary from one another. but i am sure every success is dear to everybody, cause it is not easy to come by, cause in the process of our striving for success, we got both our body and soul tempted, meanwhile we are enlightened by the most valuable qualities of human beings: love, patient, courage and sense of responsibility. these are the best treasures. so now i am very proud that i have this opportunity to stand here speaking to all of you. it is my success, cause i raise up to challenge my hope.
i have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed-we hold theses truths to be self-oevident, that all men are created equal. i have a dream that one day on the red hills of georgia, sons of former slaves and sons of former slave owners will be able to sit together at the table of brotherhood. i have a dream my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. i have a dream today! when we allow freedom to ring, when we let it ring from every village and hamlet, from every state and city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of god’s children-black men and white men , jews and gentiles, catholics and protestants-will be able to join hands and to sing in the words of the old negro spiritual, “free at least ,free at last . thank god almighty, we are free at last.”

The third door is the door to lifelong learning. As new ideas appear all the time, we always need to acquire new knowledge, regardless of our age. Naturally, my aunt herself is the best example. Many of my aunt's contemporaries say that she is amazingly up-to-date for a middle-aged woman. She simply responds,“Age doesn't matter. What matters is your attitude. You may think it's strange that I am still going to college, but I don't think I'm too old to learn.”Yes, she is right. Since the government removed the age limit for college admissions in 20xx, there are already some untraditional students, sitting with us in the same classrooms. Like these people, my aunt is old but she is very young in spirit. With her incredible energy and determination, she embodies both tradition and modernity.
The doors open to us also pose challenges. For instance, we are faced with the challenge of a balanced learning, the challenge of preserving our fine tradition while learning from the West, and the challenge of learning continuously while carrying heavy responsibilities to our work and family. So, each door is a test of our courage, ability and judgment, but with the support of my teachers, parents, friends and my aunt, I believe I can meet the challenge head on. When I reach my aunt's age, I can be proud to say that I have walked through dozens of doors and will, in the remainder of my life, walk through many more. Possibly I will go back to college, too.

你們好!我演講的題目是《愛，是滋潤我心靈的甘露》。
“教書育人是教師的天職，既有苦，也有樂。”懷著對教育事業(yè)無限的憧憬和滿腔熱情，XX年8月，剛剛從師范院校畢業(yè)的我，興奮地踏入了教育這方熱土，在小學(xué)語文教師這個崗位上開墾夢想。回想起大學(xué)教學(xué)樓門前的那句“捧著一顆心來，不帶半根草去”的教育箴言，我竟真的投身于“學(xué)高為師，身正為范”的教育實踐中去了，當夢想蛻變成現(xiàn)實，讓我除了興奮之外，更感受到一份沉甸甸的責(zé)任。
教師，這個神圣的稱呼，它如磁石吸引我游離的眼光，安撫我躁動的心河。多少個安靜的夜晚，我都是與教材和試卷一起度過的。剛開始的適應(yīng)過程是艱難的，有時，為了備好一堂課，我認真研究教材不知多少遍;有時，為了查找資料，我查閱大量書籍和網(wǎng)頁。在一次寫景作文習(xí)作指導(dǎo)課中，為了讓孩子能夠感受風(fēng)雨，在有感受基礎(chǔ)上進行描寫，我課前查了兩個多小時的資料，準備了三段視頻和八張圖片，模擬了真實的風(fēng)雨環(huán)境。學(xué)生受到了感染，在習(xí)作中給了我許多驚喜，他們用文字印證了我的努力成果。
然而，這些努力并沒有讓我的工作一帆風(fēng)順，班里調(diào)皮任性、個性鮮明的學(xué)生常使我頭疼萬分，手足無措。最初的我對于如何與學(xué)生相處一直不得要領(lǐng)，也并不那么在意，認為只要我把課備熟了，就一定是萬無一失的。直到遇到了這樣的鏡頭，它深深地刺痛了我：班上的一個學(xué)生在我眼皮底下和他的同桌嬉笑打鬧，對于我熟視無睹。而當我的目光與他的目光的相遇的時候，感覺到的卻是冷漠和麻木。一次班級紀律又陷入混亂，在忍耐了很久之后，我大吼了一句：“你們想氣死老師嗎?”這時我們班上的一位淘氣的男孩子指著一名成績比較優(yōu)秀的女同學(xué)大聲說：“老師，她說‘想!’”我形容不出當時聽到這句話時自己的感受，只覺得像有一只巨手緊緊地揪住了我的心，疑惑、痛楚陣陣襲來。我，作為一名人民教師，讓孩子產(chǎn)生了如此厭惡的心理，這難道就是我的初衷嗎?
于是我開始反復(fù)思考，為了彌補裂痕，我嘗試用心去與孩子溝通，時常利用課下找一些同學(xué)談話，了解他們的學(xué)習(xí)狀況，幫助他們解決不懂的問題;每天帶著陽光般的笑容進入課堂，用充滿耐心和愛心的語言去滋潤學(xué)生的心田;利用集體活動的機會主動與孩子親近;通過作文與學(xué)生進行情感交流與互動，尤其是那個孩子，我總是制造機會和她說話，詢問她課上是否聽懂，不懂就問。經(jīng)過努力，這個孩子變得愛對我笑了，在征文《我眼中的好老師》活動中，她居然寫的是我，我好開心，意識到自己的努力終于有了回報。
班里的小光是一個基礎(chǔ)較差的孩子，在學(xué)習(xí)上的表現(xiàn)總是拖班級后腿而且脾氣暴躁，對我很排斥。我試著用各種方法提高他的成績，但效果都不明顯。后來我了解到，他的這些個性與他的家庭有著很大的關(guān)系，爸爸媽媽在外打工，他長期和爺爺生活在一起，雖然他爺爺是愛他的，但遠不及那細膩的父愛母愛，加上爺爺?shù)闹R有限，導(dǎo)致教育方法欠妥當，有時候甚至是拳腳相向，為此，孩子逐漸變得滿不在乎，仇視學(xué)習(xí)。
如何才能融化他心底的堅冰呢?沉思許久，頓然醒悟，雨果不是說，愛是情感的升華，可以賦予萬物生長的力量嗎?為此，我決定以“愛”為契機，開導(dǎo)他，滿足他，改變他。期中考試之后，我趁著這個難得的機會在全班同學(xué)面前表揚了他，先是肯定了他閱讀題答得特別好，可見思維和智商之高。但是，基礎(chǔ)知識就不那么盡如人意了之后的一次生詞過關(guān)中，他得了滿分，當時我特別高興，迫不及待的就在家長會上表揚了他。拿破侖說過，人性最深切的需要就是渴望別人的欣賞，更何況是孩子呢?不出所料，他的神情態(tài)度開始緩和了下來，我意識到我的機會來了，便與他進行了一次長談，說了一下我對他的印象，我說：“你在老師心中的形象是光鮮的，我不會忘記當我說希望有同學(xué)能打掃教室時你那高高舉起的手臂，還有在運動會賽場上你那盡情揮灑的代表班級榮譽的汗水，如此特別的你，難道真的不想在學(xué)習(xí)上也鮮明起來嗎?做一個讓老師欣賞的學(xué)生吧，不光在勞動上，更體現(xiàn)在你生活的點點滴滴中吧!”他離開時，眼中噙著淚花，我不知道他是否會改頭換面，但我確定他一定會有所改變。第二天，在我的辦公桌上發(fā)現(xiàn)了一張他留下的便條，上面寫道：“老師，謝謝您的夸獎。您的贊揚使我感動，我一定不辜負您的期望。”之后的日子里，雖然他每次測試仍會錯很多題，但他的努力我卻看在眼里，我鼓勵他說最難能可貴的是你這顆肯改變的心。

the first time i saw bao was in , the year when thomas and uber cup was held. at that time he was playing against li zongwei, who is also a good player from malaysia. bao beat him. to tell the truth, at first the reason why i liked him was just because i thought he was pretty.*(maybe it is not a suitable word, but i think no better word can describe him, he is really pretty!) from that time, i have focused on him. then gradually, i found that he not only has good appearance, but also has a talent for badminton.
he is very tall, about 1.90 meters. he is the tallest one among all the players in the chinese badminton team. in , he is chosen as the flag holder stands for china in the opening ceremony in the 15th asian games held in doha. it was the first time that the badminton players were chosen to take over the special task, before which time, it belonged to the basketball players. it was a great honor. and it also proved that bao was an excellent athlete. we are all proud of him.
he began to play badminton when he was at primary school. in , he won his first good medal, which was significant to him, in guangzhou. because of that, he entered the chinese badminton team. as he is as old as lin dan, who is the top one in the world, he is always put into a situation wh(。)ich is not good to him. he seldom beats lin dan, so he gained a name which is called’千年老二’. in fact, his techniques are comprehensive, but he is lack of passion, the desire to win is not so strong. so he always has misplays. due to this, he seldom wins the gold medal. i think this is related to his character. he is easygoing and couth; he looks as if he will never get angry with anybody. so this affects him while he is playing badminton. in a period of time, critical voice has come towards him. he is under great pressure. he was not in the best state. but recently he cheers up again. several days ago, the chinese badminton championship was held in guangzhou. i went to see him on saturday. i was very excited, and i shouted loudly, hoping he could hear me. there is no doubt that he won the game. before he went away, he waved hand to us, how excited i was at that time! the next day, he beat li zongwei again and he won the man’s single gold medal. all of us are very happy. after 7 years, which could be a long time for an athlete, he proved himself again in guangzhou, which is considered as his lucky place.
i think this will be the energy of his advancing. and i hope he can keep this fighting will and win the gold medal in the 29th olympic games held in beijing!
