My Friend-我的朋友
John is the most diligent student in our class. He is one of my friends. As a matter of fact, he gets along with his classmates. He might spend just five to ten minutes talking to you once in a long while, but he talks with enthusiasm and energy, and he likes to share his thinking and ideas with you. He is honest; he does not like to waste his time and energy. He never appears sleepy and tired in the classroom. He always hands in homework on time and also does well in his examinations, yet he has time practicing playing football and his violin skill. I admire him. I hope I can be as diligent as he is; John is persistent, attentive, and energetic.

I was born in 1972 in an intellectual family.Both my father and mother are teachers who gave me a sound breeding and education.At the age of three I was sent to a kindergarten.At the age of seven I entered a primary school where my formal education began.
After graduation,I began to attend a middle school.During six years,I studied hard and often ranked first in all subjects.Thus I laid a solid foundation for my later study.I took a special interest in mathematics.As one teacher said,I had talent for that subject.I won a prize in a math competition.
In 1990,I was admitted into Central China Normal University after passing the strict entrance examination.I studied in Mathematics Department and devoted my time to my favorite major.I worked diligently and achieved and excellent academic record.For this I was praised by authorities and professors.
Now I am striving not only for good grades in the courses of the last year,but for proficiency in English.I have decided to enter myself for the postgraduate entrance examination in attempt to gain a higher degree.

于是，我問他：“東怎么讀？”他答道：“west”，我倒吸了一口冷氣，又問：“北怎么讀？” “east”他毫不猶豫的答到。天啊!全顛倒了。我一時被他弄得哭笑不得。我先教表弟復(fù)習(xí)了英語26個字母，隨后，我又叫表弟給我背了一遍音標。然后我才真正的教弟弟學(xué)今天學(xué)過的單詞，我一個單詞一個單詞的教，他一個一個的跟著學(xué)，我們倆一邊寫一邊讀，經(jīng)過一番苦戰(zhàn)后，他還是沒有學(xué)會，怎么辦呢？我想起我學(xué)英語時我的老師教我的小竅門了，我就把這些小竅門教給他，我對他說：“你可以用小句子來記單詞，如：chess就可以很快的記住。”我說完后，就教他說饒口令：兩條蛇、下象棋、坐車里。他隨著我放的音樂，也跟我說了起來，后來，我又教他用這種方法記那四個詞語，他不一會就記會了。
在這個基礎(chǔ)上我又教了他down這個單詞，我跟他說：“d表示地球，因為你一往下看就是地球上的土地；o表示地球的結(jié)構(gòu)是圓的，像雞蛋；wn表示無門的意思。他們連在一起就是地球像雞蛋一樣無門可進。”這樣下來，弟弟對英語的興趣增長了許多。怎么樣，我這個小老師還不錯吧，嘻嘻！
