各位家長:

  晚上好!我是孩子們的英語老師周老師,很榮幸能通過本次家長會與您一起交流我們的英語教學,看著在坐的家長朋友,絕大部分家長,我們還是第一次正式碰面,但是對于家長們的簽名,我是再熟悉不過的了,我們每天的《家校聯(lián)系本》基本上都有過每個家長的簽名,在此,真誠地向家長朋友們說聲謝謝,感謝您對我們這一門學科的支持與配合,借次機會我想和家長朋友們交流以下幾方面的內(nèi)容。

  一、班級整體情況

  在優(yōu)秀班主任xxx的帶領(lǐng)下,我們班比較優(yōu)秀(進步較大),上個學期期末我們英語學科是蘭溪市統(tǒng)一測試的,我們?nèi)〉昧藘?yōu)異的成績,但也有小部分學生明顯落后與別人,主要表現(xiàn)在上課注意力不集中,不喜歡張口讀書,動作偏慢,家庭作業(yè)沒有按時上交或干脆不交等現(xiàn)象,久而久之,他的各種表現(xiàn)就落后了,不管是考試成績,口語交流,還是書寫。就不如其他學生。

  二、英語學科的特點

  本學期我們用的是PEP英語教材的升級版,它比原來的舊教版有了更高的要求,在學生聽、說、讀、寫的基礎(chǔ)上,強調(diào)語言的運用,注重能力的培養(yǎng),培養(yǎng)學生自主學習的能力和獨立運用所學語言去做事的能力。但教學內(nèi)容緊密聯(lián)系小學生的生活和學習實際,選擇話題充分考慮到小學生的需求,涉及學校、家庭、飲食、玩具、動物、顏色、數(shù)字等。本學期還增加了機器人(Robin)角色,更富有童趣。因此,英語學科的學習本身趣味性比較強,成績好的同學會越學越有趣,小部分同學基礎(chǔ)沒打好,興趣也就減弱了,畢竟學習的過程是從易到難的。低段簡單的沒學會,到高段難的知識點學起來就感覺累了。英語課程每個單元的課型也比較清晰的,每單元有AB兩部分重點內(nèi)容,每部分有三中課型;單詞教學,對話教學和閱讀教學;還有C部分,也就是故事教學是選學內(nèi)容,我們一般不作課堂授課,作為有興趣的同學自己自學內(nèi)容。

  三、如何在家監(jiān)督孩子的英語學習

  1。關(guān)注家庭作業(yè)

  每周有三節(jié)英語課,這三天里我都會布置家庭作業(yè),并且我對家庭作業(yè)有具體的要求:若當天是新授單詞課,那晚上的作業(yè)肯定是默寫單詞;若是對話課,那晚上的作業(yè)肯定是默寫重點句,對預習作業(yè)的要求是:聽錄音,若預習單詞,要在家校聯(lián)系本上抄寫單詞,我沒有規(guī)定抄寫幾遍,目的是培養(yǎng)學生主動學習的習慣,而不是每天機械地完成老師布置的作業(yè)。若對話課或閱讀課,要求翻譯漢語的意思,寫在家校聯(lián)系本上。第二天由四人小組長檢查,發(fā)現(xiàn)很多孩子是來學校補的,可見聽力作業(yè)也不會完成。所以,從今天以后,家長可以根據(jù)這幾個要求去關(guān)自己孩子完成作業(yè)的情況,當然這之前也有做得很好的家長,不但關(guān)注孩子的學習還天天在家校聯(lián)系本上簽名。雖然我沒有強制性要求學生每天讓家長簽名,目的是杜絕孩子造假,高段了有的孩子很聰明,自己簽個名,每天簽名的家長我是記憶很深刻的,你的孩子也很優(yōu)秀,我也很感謝您對英語學科的支持和關(guān)注。

  2。關(guān)注單元測試測試卷簽名。其實測試卷上家長簽名,是一個外在的形式,我的目的是,讓家長知道孩子一個階段的學習成果,看孩子的試卷,不光看分數(shù)的高低,更要關(guān)注孩子錯誤的'原因,是因為粗心,還是因為本身就不會。一次考試,不僅僅只是分數(shù)上的收獲,更是一種學習方法上的收獲。也是鼓勵和鞭策孩子,讓孩子有學習的成就感,每次測試后我都以不同的方式給予學生獎勵,有,優(yōu)秀獎,進步獎,鼓勵獎。考慮到有的學生存在報喜不報憂的情況,每次試卷下發(fā)后,我都會以短信的方式,通知給家長。

  四、幾點希望

  1。家長要轉(zhuǎn)變觀念,要把語文,數(shù)學,英語放在同等位置。經(jīng)??梢月牭郊议L的議論,小學英語沒關(guān)系,初中會重學的,其實這是一種錯誤的觀念。初中七年級是有三個模塊式復習內(nèi)容的,但后面的內(nèi)容跨度還是很大的,明年的中考英語難度系數(shù)又增加了,取消了選擇題的題型,9月2日高考制度出臺,高三考試分為英語、語文、數(shù)學,各科總分是150分。所以養(yǎng)成良好的學習習慣要從小學開始,孩子的學習必須家校合作,因為時代在進步,再也不要和你那時自己的學習比較。希望家長再家多費點心,多關(guān)注自己孩子的英語學習情況。

  2。多關(guān)注孩子的學習動態(tài),別過早的放棄孩子對英語的學習,要意識到小學的知識相對來說是比較簡單的,更多的是要讓孩子有學英語的動力,多鼓勵,不要一味的責罵,多和孩子交流,溝通。

  3。讓我們常聯(lián)系,我一個人任教六個班的英語課,平時你的孩子出現(xiàn)什么問題我一般和班主任交流比較多,真的感到抱歉,所以家長朋友們您們?nèi)粲惺裁磫栴},你可以寫在家校聯(lián)系本上,或打電話(------537934),我會盡我所能幫助您的孩子。最后讓我們共同努力,讓孩子在英語學科上取得好成績,養(yǎng)成好習慣,為今后的學習打下扎實的基礎(chǔ)。我就聊這么多,有不當之處,望家長朋友們批評指正。我辦公室就在隔壁,若有事我們也可以單獨交流。

  secondly,the temptations. the college serves us a more relaxed environmentmixed with other temptations such as the internet,alcohols and so on. what’smore,the college teachers won’t pel you to study like before,you doze off orplay cell phone in class,and you flee up the morning class because you get uptoo late. such too frequent behaviors will cripple your passion and enthusiasmtowards life,so it is essential for us to resist these temptations and insistpursuing our own goals.

  thirdly,the balance between study and work. most of us will choose to takea part time job to earn the extra money or just to exercise ourselves. but it issignificant to keep a relatively balanced relationship between them since ialways regard the study as our main task,so my principle is adjusting work tofollow the schedule of study.

  in conclusion,whatever issues we meet or miseries we suffer from,confrontthe hash reality head on,what we can do is remembering the past,living in thepresent and looking forward to the future.

And Lance Armstrong is also optimistic; if not,thedevil of cancer would have devoured his life and the world would not see a5-time winner of the Tour De France.

  A rose may be beautiful,or maybe not; that depends on your attitude only,and so does success,so does life. Lastweek,thousands of my fellow students had their blood type tested in order tomake a contribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer.

  As college students,we are adolescents at the critical turning point inour lives. We all face a fundamental choice:cynicism or faith,each willprofoundly impact our future,or even the future of our country. I believe inall my fellow classmates.
