One of my most memorable Spring Festival is the Spring Festival of 20xx, which was spent at my grandmother's home in shandong province. Though it's been two years, the memory is still in my mind like yesterday, and I still remember it.
I remember that at four or five o 'clock in the morning of the New Year, I was awakened by the sound of firecrackers, and I could hear my mother Shouting, "get up, go to the big year, set off firecrackers and eat dumplings." I a carp sit up, stretch, rubs the sleepy eyes say: get up too early, the sky is still black. There is a custom in grandma's Spring Festival: which firecracker has been released early, which can get up early, which has long been on behalf of which is very industrious, and hard work is the forecast for a good harvest in the coming year. So everyone is scrambling to get up early, set off firecrackers and make dumplings.
Adults are busy in front of the pot, mother see I lazy moved hurriedly said: "wake up, go with my uncle set off firecrackers, one heard that set off firecrackers to god, the rapid wear good clothes, I jumped off the kang, grabbed the fireworks with my uncle came to court, grabbed the lighter and a bunch of fireworks are lit up, I'm covering her ears, no stamp the70sduring sounded good. Will Christmas Replace the Spring Festival?
Christmas arouses increasing attention year by year in China。 Christmas cards bee popular with students。 People hold Christmas parties and exchange Christmas girts。 A lot or TV and radio programs about Christmas are on。 Meanwhile the Spring Festival is less appealing (有吸引力的)to youngsters。 Thus some people wonder whether Christmas will replace the Spring Festival。
This worry is fairly unnecessary。 Why ? One reason lies that Christmas only affects Christians, college students and joint-venture (合資企業(yè))workers。 Another reason is that Christmas is mostly celebrated in cities。 Few people in countryside show extreme interest in this exotic(帶有異國情調(diào)的) festival。 By contrast, the Spring Festival is the most influential traditional festival in every family。
I think,it is natural that with increasing exchanges with the West,a lot of Western holidays have been gradually introduced into China。 For us China people we should never neglect or even discard our own traditional festivals。 For centuries China people have observed this traditional holiday to wele the beginning of a happy new year。 And we will treasure the Spring Festival forever。
